Just as its 3 out of 10: Season Two giveaway comes to an end, the Epic Games Store has put forth the next specials in its freebie lineup, which happens to be a trio after a long time. Everyone now has the opportunity to grab free copies of Deponia: The Complete Journey, Ken Follett"s The Pillars of the Earth, and The First Tree.
Deponia: The Complete Journey contains the original trilogy of the point-and-click adventure comedy series. The story tells the tale of Rufus, a man who is trying to get out of the trash planet Deponia, but gets wrapped up in wacky adventures in the meantime. The Complete Journey also comes with mini-game help screens, developer commentary, making-of features, and more bonuses.
Meanwhile, Ken Follett"s The Pillars of the Earth is also a point-and-click adventure game, and it is based on the award-winning 1989 novel of the same name. The story follows the village of Kingsbridge"s attempt at making "one of the greatest cathedrals England will ever see." The three-book storyline spans over 30 years as players take the roles of three playable characters.
Stepping away from the adventure games, the final game being given away by Epic this week is The First Tree, an indie exploration game made by a one-man development team. The third-person title follows two storylines, one of a fox searching for its missing family, and the other being about a son reconnecting with his estranged father. The experience is said to be for fans of games like Journey and Firewatch.
Deponia: The Complete Journey, Ken Follett"s The Pillars of the Earth, and The First Tree will remain free to claim on the Epic Games Store until April 22. The identities of the next freebies have been revealed to be Alien: Isolation and Hand of Fate 2.
