When Quantic Dream announced that its three PlayStation exclusive adventure titles would be hitting PC earlier this year, only Heavy Rain and Beyond: Two Souls received firm release dates, while Detroit: Become Human hovered around with a fall 2019 launch window.
Today, the studio finally announced the PC version of the interactive narrative game concerning androids will be available on December 12, exclusively via Epic Games Store just like the previous games. A playable demo that showcases the opening section will be available to try out on the same day as well.
The game follows three androids - Kara, Connor, and Markus - and their branching storylines, putting players through various high-intensity decision-making situations that evolve the experience, affecting the ultimate outcomes. The studio recommends players to do multiple playthroughs to find out all of the story resolutions.
Calling this "the most complete Detroit: Become Human experience to date," Quantic Dream has redesigned the game"s UI and updated the engine to have the PC version support 4K resolution and higher-quality graphics. The game will be playable in 60FPS, and full mouse and keyboard support, alongside controllers, is also included.
