The three Quantic Dream titles, Heavy Rain, Beyond: Two Souls, and Detroit: Become Human, that arrived as Epic Games Store exclusives to PC following their long stays as PlayStation platform exclusives are finally coming to Steam. The developer revealed today that all three games will hit Steam on June 18 simultaneously.
Epic Games Store exclusives generally stay on the platform for a year or so before also launching through Steam, though it seems this is a bit of a different situation. Heavy Rain, arrived in the Epic Games Store on June 24, 2019, but Beyond: Two Souls landed a month later in July, while Detroit: Become Human launched all the way in December 2019. It looks as though the staggered release won"t be reoccurring on Steam.
The three are story-heavy adventure games that let players choose how the experiences play out using branching narratives. There are plenty of alternate endings available too, enticing inquisitive players to do multiple playthroughs. Moreover, the PC ports come with additional upgrades over the PlayStation versions such as high-resolution display support, 60FPS gameplay, as well as mouse and keyboard support.
The Steam pages for Heavy Rain, Beyond: Two Souls, and Detroit: Become Human are currently up and running with wishlist capabilities enabled. All three pages also have gameplay demos available that can be downloaded and played straight away.
