Diablo-like Grim Dawn hits Xbox on December 3

Grim Dawn is a Diablo-like action role-playing game that originally launched in 2016. The title garnered excellent reviews due to its varied character classes, deep gameplay mechanics, and compelling story. It"s also received a lot of expansions since then like Ashes of Malmouth and Forgotten Gods, which add hours of content to the game.

Today, developer Crate Entertainment announced that the title was coming to Xbox platforms, namely Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, on December 3, 2021. Pre-orders will go live next week, on November 22. It"s unclear what the enhancements for Xbox Series X|S are at this time.

Grim Dawn takes place in Cairn that has been ravaged by a cosmic war. Humanity is on the brink of extinction and it"s up to you to ensure its survival. Unlike traditional games where you"re fighting on the side of one faction or the other, Grim Dawn focuses on carving your own path among the chaos.

The Definitive Edition costs $59.99 on Steam and includes all of the post-launch content. We can probably expect a similar price when Grim Dawn goes up for pre-order in a few days. We"ll keep you posted as soon as we know more. It"ll be interesting to see how the game plays with a controller on Microsoft"s machines.
