Discuss: The worst Windows Phone ever

Its been almost five years since Microsoft first unveiled Windows Phone 7 Series, drawing a line under its Windows Mobile efforts with a new, modern smartphone platform. Since the first WP7 handsets went on sale at the end of 2010, plenty of Windows Phones have come and gone – although it’s fair to say that some have had more of an impact than others.

There have been many excellent Windows Phones over the years, including the magnificent Lumia 1020, with its stunning 41-megapixel camera, and the beautiful HTC One M8 for Windows, among others. But let’s not pretend that the Windows Phone range has been perfect – there have certainly been a few disappointments along the way.

In fact, we’d like to hear your thoughts on which device might be the worst Windows Phone ever.

From a poor display or patchy build quality, to weak performance, low RAM, limited storage, and beyond, there are of course many factors that impact upon usage and ownership of a device. It’s not fair to simply say that a phone is the worst because it has the weakest specs or the lowest price tag – as we’ve seen with devices like the Lumia 630, even the most affordable handsets can be a delight to use.

Whatever issues factor into your choice for the worst Windows Phone, be sure to let us know exactly why that handset has angered, frustrated or disappointed you.

…and bear in mind that anyone who posts a comment along the lines of “all Windows Phones suck” will be repeatedly slapped with The Trout of Witless Trolling. You have been warned.

With that out of the way, it’s over to you – so, which is the worst Windows Phone ever?
