In recent weeks, Microsoft has dramatically increased the rate at which it rolls out new builds of its Windows 10 previews. Indeed, the company has released three new builds for PCs this week - 10158, 10159 and 10162 - but given the fact that its PC launch is now just a few weeks away, that"s not entirely surprising.
Windows 10 Mobile, however, won"t arrive until later this year, but Microsoft is still pushing ahead with development of its OS for smartphones and small tablets. In the middle of last month, it pushed out build 10136, and just nine days later, build 10149 arrived.
Insider Preview build 10149 introduced a wide range of new features and improvements to Windows 10 Mobile, including a more polished user experience, Edge branding, Cortana enhancements and more.
Of course, the mobile OS is still a long way from being finalized and ready for its consumer rollout - indeed, it seems that it will be released to manufacturers in September, ahead of its launch in the last quarter of the year. But while there"s plenty of work still to do, the OS does seem to have come a long way since the first preview was released in February.
A week on from 10149"s release, we"re eager to hear your thoughts on the latest Windows 10 Mobile build. Does it feel like an improvement over previous builds? Did you have any problems upgrading to it? Have you experienced any major issues while using it? Are you still using it, or have you reverted to Windows Phone 8.1?
