Discuss: What do you think of Windows 10 Technical Preview build 10041 so far?

On January 23, Microsoft released build 9926 of its Windows 10 Technical Preview, and many of those testing the OS – particularly those on the "Fast ring" for rapid release of new updates – expected the following build to arrive reasonably quickly.

However, after weeks of waiting for it to arrive, Windows Insiders were getting very impatient, and even Microsoft acknowledged that it had been a bit too conservative in the rollout of new builds. Having promised to boost the rate at which it pushes out future updates to the Preview, the company finally released its latest build (10041) on Wednesday.

Build 10041 brings a range of new features and improvements to the Technical Preview, including changes to the Start menu, expansion of Cortana to various markets, lock screen updates, and a new quick-access panel for connecting to networks.

Given that this is still pre-release software, of course, 10041 isn"t perfect, and there are numerous known issues with the new build, in addition to various bugs and glitches that testers are still discovering for themselves.

So we"d like to know how you"re finding build 10041 so far. Were there any hiccups during the installation? Have you encountered any major problems? Or has your experience with the latest Preview build been flawless?

We"d love to hear your experiences and impressions of the new build, so be sure to share them with us below!
