Discuss: Which features would you like to see in Microsoft's next flagship Windows phone?

For much of last year, Microsoft offered three Windows Phone "flagships" alongside each other. The Lumia 1020 - with its impressive 41-megapixel PureView camera - reached the end of its retail life in late 2014, but the Lumia 930 and 1520 remain on sale. These two devices share very similar specs, and the biggest difference between them is their size: a 5-inch display for the 930; but a massive 6-inch panel for the 1520.

Both handsets feature a quad-core 2.2GHz Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage, with displays offering Full HD (1920x1080px) resolution. Both also include an impressive 20-megapixel PureView camera with optical image stabilization, and 4K video recording with the latest Lumia Denim update.

But the Lumia 1520 was first announced way back in October 2013, some seventeen months ago, while the Lumia 930 was originally unveiled as the Lumia Icon in February 2014. While both devices have plenty to offer, there"s no disguising the fact that their specs aren"t quite as impressive now as they were this time last year.

Next month, at the Mobile World Congress trade expo in Barcelona, Microsoft is expected to unveil new mid-range additions to its Windows Phone line-up. But those hoping for a new flagship to arrive anytime soon are in for a disappointment.

Microsoft said a couple of weeks ago that new "Lumia smartphones powered by Snapdragon 810 processors" are on the way - but it"s likely that these next-gen flagships will launch with Windows 10 for phones on board, in the second half of the year.

That"s a long wait - but it gives us plenty of time to consider what Microsoft may have in store for its new range-toppers. So, beyond the faster processor and the new OS, which other features are you hoping to see on Microsoft"s next flagship Windows phone?

Whether it"s support for ultra-high-resolution displays, better imaging tech, thinner and lighter hardware, or something else entirely, we"re interested to find out what you"ll be looking out for on the next high-end Lumia. Indeed, we want to hear from you even if your wishlist is as simple as hoping for some new handset color options.

There are no wrong answers here - just opinions - so be sure to share yours below (and to respect those of others, even if they might sound a bit mad at first!), and above all, enjoy the discussion!
