The GOG store"s catalog of DRM-free games keeps on expanding, as today, several more high profile Bethesda-published games have joined the PC platform. Quite a number of games from the publisher have been available on the store for a while now, though almost all of them have been classic Bethesda releases.
Now, Arkane Studios" entire Dishonored franchise along with MachineGames" first couple of Wolfenstein games have reached GOG. This includes Dishonored, Dishonored 2, Dishonored: Death of the Outsider, as well as Wolfenstein: The New Order and Wolfenstein: The Old Blood. Unsurprisingly, all of the bonus content for Dishonored 2 and Death of the Outsider is included too.
Both franchises utilize the first-person perspective, but differ quite a bit when it comes to the gameplay and setting. Dishonored takes place in a dark mysterious universe where the player is given a number of magical abilities to serve essentially as an assassin, with options for stealth, loud, lethal, and non-lethal available. Meanwhile, Wolfenstein is a fast-paced shooter that takes place in an alternative universe where the Axis powers won World War II. B.J. Blazkowicz has to work with the resistance to fight and dismantle the Nazis.
Celebrating the arrival, all of Bethesda"s offerings on the GOG store have gone on sale until February 24, including the new arrivals. Some highlights include 70% off the Dishonored and Wolfenstein bundles. Complete editions of classics like Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion and Fallout: New Vegas are also discounted by 70%.
