Developer Ryan Valentin tweeted today that the Disqus Windows 10 app is "coming together quickly" and should be available as an open beta soon.
Windows phone users are in for a bit of good news as well, as the UWP app will be made available to Windows 10 Mobile too.
Good news for Windows phone users seem to be becoming increasingly rare these days. Amazon just recently pulled its Windows Phone app from the Store, and PayPal will discontinue its app on the 30th.
Valentin seemed to be fine with sharing additional details about the app, adding that an open beta will be available soon.
Windows 10 users are bound to be pleased by the news, as Disqus is one of the most popular commenting systems found on the Internet. It"s also nice to see that not only will there be a version for phones, but the firm will have both versions available at the same time.
We"ve seen other Windows 10 apps launch for PCs without a Mobile version alongside, with companies sometimes promising - and occasionally users simply left hoping - that they will later release one. Facebook is the biggest example of this, offering up Facebook and Messenger to PC only. Vine is another, although that one would fall into the "hoping" category.
Thanks to @Windows10Lover for the tip!
