DOH! Amazon.co.uk Sells HP IPAQs for £7.32

In another hilarious example of pricing goofs. Amazon.co.uk was taken down for almost 50 minutes today after it was found a string of pricing errors were running riot throughout the site. The most prolific examples were the HP iPAQs pocket PCs which normally retail for around £200.

Office workers and bosses in the city of london were buying quantities of around 50 or 60 at a time.

Stuart Clary, a 26 year-old media worker placed an order for 12 of the more expensive computers, one for each of the members in his office.

"I wish I"d done more," he said, after saying he"d bought products worth more than £6,000 for less than £300.

Amazon.co.uk was unavailable for comment when contacted by neowin, it is however likely that as has happened in the past amazon will be forced to honor the purchases as a contract of sale legally exists between the 2 parties involved in the transaction.
