Dual-screen YotaPhone 3 gets priced, starts at around $359

When the YotaPhone 2 was announced, it was quite a unique smartphone, having two displays; one full color and the other e-ink. While plans for a successor were quickly announced, making claims that it would arrive in 2016, it wouldn"t be until 2017 that we would start hearing more about the handset. Now, after a few months of little bits here and there, the pricing of the upcoming models has been revealed, starting at around $360.

According to the firm"s website, the device will arrive in two colors, white and black, and will have two storage options with a 64GB and 128GB model. The white 64GB model will be priced at ¥2398, which is around $359, while the black version will be priced a ¥100 more, making it around $375. Those looking for more storage will want to opt for the 128GB version with the white variant being price at ¥3098 (around $464), and the black one being ¥100 more at $480.

As far as the looks go, we only have the renders that appeared earlier in the month. But from the looks of it, the Yota 3 should be a pretty sleek phone.

As far as specifications go, the handset is expected to arrive with:

  • 5.5-inch AMOLED 1080p display and 5.2-inch e-ink 720p display
  • Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor
  • 4GB RAM
  • 12MP rear camera with 13MP front-facing camera
  • USB Type-C
  • Android 7.0 Nougat

As mentioned previously, the device should be making an official appearance sometime in the coming months and unlike its previous model, hopefully, the Yota 3 will be made available to a global audience.
