It has been a long time coming, but the YotaPhone 3 is finally here. If unfamiliar, the handset is the successor of the YotaPhone 2 which made its debut in 2014. The smartphone is unique in that it offers a dual display, one full color, and the other e-ink.
After various statements from the firm and little leaks here and there, the phone has finally arrived and is now a reality. While the first official look at the device appears a little different from the leaked images we saw at the top of the month, the specifications and price remain intact.
As far as specifications go, the YotaPhone 3 offers:
- 5.5-inch AMOLED 1080p display
- 5.2-inch e-ink 720p display
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor
- 4GB RAM
- 64GB or 128GB storage
- 12MP rear camera with 13MP front-facing camera
- USB Type-C
- Android 7.1.1 Nougat
The YotaPhone 3 will be available for pre-order starting on September 5 from JD.com and will be available for sale on September 18. The 64GB version will cost $360, while the 128GB variant will cost a bit more at $465.
