Duke Nukem Forever, after 15 years, has finally gone gold and will ship to stores on June 14 in the US. That"s still hard to believe but it"s really happening. However if you are getting the PC version of the long awaited first person shooter you might also be looking for a PC graphics card update. If that"s the case then EVGA has a deal for you with their limited edition graphics card bundle with some exclusive Duke Nukem stuff.
The graphics card itself is a GeForce GTX 560 based product but you will also get a copy of the PC version, a limited edition Duke Nukem Forever art book, a Duke Nukem Forever mousepad and a Duke Nukem “Radioactive” belt buckle. You can pre-order the special bundle now for $249.99. EVGA is also offering a free upgrade to a 10 year warranty if you purchase the special edtion graphics card in May and June. The PC system requirements for Duke Nukem Forever have already been released.
The game itself, originally developed by 3D Realms but completed by Gearbox Software and others, is perhaps the longest game in development without actually being released. It was re-introduced to gamers in September 2010 after several years of no real development updates and in less than three weeks it should be installed on PC hard drives in the US. A demo for Duke Nukem Forever is due for release on June 3 for people who pre-ordered the game or people who purchased Gearbox"s Borderlands Game of the Year Edition.
Update: This offer is also available in Europe.
