Dying Light is a first-person action game that focuses on the aftermath of a zombie outbreak. While the premise may sound rather stereotypical, the parkour and visceral action elevate the experience. It"s regarded as a cult classic nowadays, and fans have been asking for a PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S for a while now.
Today, the game"s official Twitter account said that the team is working on a patch for current-generation consoles, and that more details would be revealed soon. Given the fact that the sequel, Dying Light 2: Stay Human, was pushed back until 2022, here"s hoping that this patch will tide fans over until February.
We"re currently working on a next-gen patch for Dying Light 1 - more details coming in the future :)

Dying Light looks great on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, but upgrading it to a higher resolution and faster frame rate should help. The combat is quite fast-paced but feels a little clunky due to last-generation limitations.
You can pick up Dying Light: The Following - Enhanced Edition for $29.99 through the Microsoft Store or the platform of your choice. Furthermore, you can pre-order Dying Light 2 for $59.99 at the same store ahead of its release next year.
