Intel is announcing its Comet Lake vPro processors today, and that means it"s time for OEMs to show off their refreshed wares with the new CPUs. That includes Dynabook, which focuses on business PCs. The company is refreshing its entire lineup today.
The Portégé X30L-G was actually announced back at CES as the lightest 13.3-inch laptop to include Intel"s 10th-generation processors. It weighs in at just 1.92 pounds, has a 13.3-inch IGZO display, and more. It starts at $1,373.99.
And of course, the rest of the Portégé lineup is getting Comet Lake vPro. That includes the X30-G, X40-G, and X50-G. They offer things like a webcam privacy shutter, a privacy screen, a fingerprint sensor, and an IR camera. Obviously, vPro provides its own array of hardware security features.
They"re still meant to be thin and light too. The Portégé X30-G weighs in at just 2.3 pounds and comes in at 15.9mm thin. The 14-inch X40-G is 2.76 pounds, while the 15.6-inch X50-G is three pounds.
The X30-G starts at $1,329.99, the X40-G starts at $1,299.99, and the X50-G starts at $1,399.99.
Finally, the Tecra series is more entry-level, starting at $449.99 for the A30-G and $399.99 for the A40-G. The smaller A30-G weighs in at only 2.65 pounds, making it the thinnest and lightest A-series PC so far.
