After a successful launch of its Windows 8.1 tablet, E Fun has released its latest low-end 2-in-1 device, pre-installed with Windows 10. The "Nextbook Flexx 9" 8.9” tablet is now available for a relatively cheap starting price of $139.00, which includes both the tablet itself and a detachable keyboard.
The 8.9” display boasts a 1280x800 IPS display, alongside a 1.83 GHz Intel Atom Z3735G Quad-Core Bay Trail processor, 32GB of solid state storage, and 1GB DDR3L RAM. For additional storage, the device offers a microSD port, supporting SD cards up to 64GB. The device also comes with an in-built 2MP front-facing webcam, and a 0.3MP rear camera.
The tablet supports the Pogo Keyboard included inside the package, attached via a connector on the bottom edge of the device. Both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0 are supported, for connections to networks and peripherals. Additionally the tablet offers one USB 2.0 port, one microUSB 2.0 port, and one microHDMI port. With the onboard 3-axis accelerometer, this tablet is also a great entry-level device for mobile gaming.
Due to the low price, this tablet has the potential to be a great low-cost tablet for mobile entertainment and productivity. The tablet runs a full version of Windows 10, and comes with the Microsoft Office mobile suite pre-installed.
The E Fun Nextbook Flexx 9 can now be ordered from Walmart for $139, in black, blue and purple.
