E3 2013: The big game banners are going up in LA

We have now arrived in Los Angeles, and the first thing we did (well, besides pick up our luggage) was to head out to the Los Angeles Convention Center to see what activity we could check out before E3 2013 begins next week.

The convention center is already being covered in the huge banners that are one of the more memorable parts of just attending E3 in the first place. Ubisoft has taken up the most space outside with its massive "Assassin"s Creed 4" banner.

2K Games is pushing "The Bureau: XCom Declassified" at E3 this year, with this banner at the convention center ...

...along with a different one promoting the same game on the side of the nearby Luxe hotel.

Yet another game with a large banner in downtown LA this week is "Dying Light," the recently announced zombie game from Techland, the creators of "Dead Island."

"Battlefield 4" has a wrap-around banner at E3, but no new information can be gleaned from it.

There"s even a tank outside the doors of the convention center, helping to promote the free-to-play game "World of Tanks."

We will be posting up even more banner images from E3 2013 on Sunday, and our coverage of the event will fully start on Monday. By the way, Neowin"s coverage of E3 2013 is being sponsored this year by Alienware, which have their own big E3 announcement to make late on Monday
