A German woman has received a response from Electronic Arts after describing the publisher as a "pig of a company", according to gamer.tm. The "Computer and Video Game Violence" conference in Munich last Thursday saw the comment made in the audience by Regina Pfeiffer, sister of outspoken critic Christian Pfeiffer. The attack was provoked by the fact that she"s unable to sue EA over a game, as they"re not based in Germany.
Surprisingly, EA have actually responded. EA Germany"s Martin Lorber said in an interview with Golem.de that "should Mrs Regina Pfeiffer have actually lost her composure to the point of describing Electronic Arts as being a "a pig of a company", then I can only recommend that she apologises in full – at least, [she should] if she wishes to be taken seriously again in the future". Lorber states that he intended on going, but was glad that he didn"t, as he has "no interest" in low-level discussion with people not interested in speaking to game developers.
