EA is bringing another one of its published games over to the Nintendo Switch, though it is from its classics library. During the Nintendo Direct Mini presentation today, it was revealed that the Criterion Games-developed popular racer Burnout Paradise is coming to the hybrid console this year, and it will be the remastered edition that released for other platforms in 2018.
Burnout Paradise Remastered on the Switch boasts 60 FPS gameplay, pinch-and-pull map controls using touch, as well as full online capabilities. Mirroring the previous releases, this edition of the remaster includes the full base game, Big Surf Island expansion, and all eight add-on packs - excluding time savers - that were part of the original"s DLC scheme.
EA hasn’t shared a specific date on which the Nintendo Switch version of Burnout Paradise Remastered will land, only saying that it is coming sometime in 2020. This is slated to be the fourth game from the racing franchise to arrive on a Nintendo platform, following Burnout (2002) and Burnout 2"s (2003) arrival on the GameCube as well as Burnout Legends (2005) release on the Nintendo DS.
Burnout Paradise Remastered is currently available on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
