Although its experiment with the Catwoman license didn"t go so well, Electronic Arts is undeterred in its pursuit of a comic-to-movie-to-game hit. It should fare a bit better with Batman Begins -- the publishing giant today announced plans to release games based on the upcoming Batman origin flick.
Eurocom will develop the console versions of the game -- PlayStation 2, Xbox, and GameCube -- while Vicarious Visions will handle handheld duties for the PSP and Game Boy Advance versions. EA and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment are jointly overseeing development, while EA will distribute the finished product. All versions are due out some time in 2005.
