Microsoft Edge Canary is where you get introduced to new features on an almost daily basis. As spotted by Reddit user Leopeva64-2, the company has recently added a new feature to the Canary channel, and it has one purpose: to make it easier for you to install web apps on all your devices.
If you"re using Edge Canary on more than one PC and are using the same Microsoft account on all your devices, you can switch between devices without having to go through the pain of installing all your important websites as web apps once again. All the websites that you installed as web apps will now appear on the Apps page of all your other devices. Once you switch to another device running the same version of Edge, it"s really easy to install those web apps with just a single click.
As you can see in the above screenshot, the previously-installed websites are now grayed out, ready to be installed on another computer. You can click on the "Install" button that appears on the right side of each available app, and you"ll get back all those web apps that you originally installed on a different computer. You can find the list of available apps on the Apps page under the "Your available apps" section.
As mentioned, the feature is available for Edge Canary users only. However, since it"s a "controlled rollout", the feature is not available for all users on the Canary channel.
If you"re one of the lucky users who can test the feature right now, let us know about your experience in the comments section!
