EE launches UK's cheapest 4G tablet, offers free data with all PAYG phones and tablets

EE is the latest to target buyers on a budget with the launch of the UK"s most affordable 4G tablet. That device is the Alcatel One Touch POP 7S, and is priced from £99.99 on pay-as-you-go (PAYG). Its key features include:

  • 7-inch IPS LCD with 1024x600px resolution 
  • Quad-core 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 (MSM8926)
  • 1GB RAM
  • 8GB onboard storage (plus microSD slot)
  • 3MP rear camera
  • VGA front-facing camera
  • 3240mAh battery
  • 4G LTE connectivity
  • Android 4.4 KitKat
  • 192 x 113 x 9mm, 279g

Coinciding with the launch of the tablet, EE has also announced a promotional offer for those buying 4G PAYG tablets and smartphones, giving them free inclusive data every month. 

Customers buying a PAYG 4G-ready smartphone between now and 28 December 2014, or a tablet before 31 January 2015, will get a free PAYG SIM and 100MB of free data to enjoy on the go every month.

EE is also giving some love to those who don"t want a device but just want a PAYG SIM on its own - if you get a PAYG SIM before 28 December, you"ll also qualify for the free 100MB offer, although you will need to pay a £5 activation fee for the SIM.
