Elon Musk's 'The Boring Company' just completed the first segment of its tunnel in LA

When it comes to ideas that are intended to improve our future, Elon Musk is one of those people that certainly has plenty. The Boring Company emerged late last year when Musk thought the traffic in the Los Angeles area was terrible.

Although the firm has been testing its "Godot" tunneling machine at the SpaceX headquarters in California, Musk has now confirmed that it "completed the first segment of tunnel in LA".

It was earlier in the month that Musk had spoken with the Los Angeles Mayor, Eric Garcetti, about the possibility of bringing a tunnel network to the city. If successful, this network will severely decrease the amount of congestion in the city, making way for a new form of travel.

Naturally, the project is still in its infant stages, but if the progress with Musk"s other firms like Tesla and SpaceX are any indication, we will probably be utilizing The Boring Company tunnels in Los Angeles and other cities relatively soon.
