EVE Online continues to grow

Even though big name MMORPG"s such as World of Warcraft and Everquest 2 have gotten the most attention from gamers, CCP Games is proud of thier continued success with EVE Online. CCP Games announced that since the launch of EVE Online: Cold War edition, the average number of concurrent players has surpassed 15,000 and the active subscriber base has shot past 70,000. In an incredibly tight market thanks in no small part to World of Warcraft and the 4+ million subscribers it has currently, CCP Games attributes the success of EVE Online to the deep and dynamic user-driven universe the game offers (among other things).
