Last week, Facebook rolled out its new "Reactions" for iOS and Android devices, and on the web, allowing users to quickly respond to posts on the social network with more than just a simple "like". Microsoft updated the Facebook Beta app on Windows 10 Mobile soon afterwards, but the new feature was missing - and it still hasn"t appeared in the latest update either.
Following last week"s bump up to version 10.2.102.0, the app has now been been updated again to 10.2.103.0, but Reactions have still not been integrated into the new release. According to the version notes on the Windows Store, here"s what the latest update does include:
- News Feed improvements
- Contact sync improvements
- Notification improvements
- Stability improvements
- Improvements to share experience
- Bug fixes
Beyond the familiar "like" for Facebook posts, Reactions allows users to respond with other options such as "wow", "haha" and "angry".
Given that the feature still hasn"t made its way to the Beta version of the app - which typically gets a preview of upcoming new features - it may be a while before the new Reactions become available in the standard, non-beta Facebook release on Windows 10 Mobile.
