Facebook Messenger gets more 'Like' stickers; including a dislike

Facebook has launched new stickers for users of the Facebook Messenger app on the web, iOS and Android, which now features more gestures based on the "Like" sticker.

Users can add the new "Like" stickers to the Messenger app or chat window on the web through the Sticker Store. The sticker set known as "Likes" is available immediately and comes at no cost.

The new stickers introduce for the first time a "Dislike" button gesture which has been a requested feature on the main website. We"ve reported that Facebook has been testing a "Sympathize" button, and looking at these stickers maybe we can also expect to see a proper "Dislike" button in the future as well. While these stickers cannot be posted to the News Feed, it"s good to see more ways of expressing certain feelings in a toned down manner for users who do not prefer the cartoon stickers in Facebook Chat conversations.

The Facebook Messenger can be downloaded on the Apple iTunes Store, or at theĀ Google Play Store.
