Facebook Messenger has been updated with a completely new design in the styling of iOS 7, it also includes new custom in-app sounds.
Another new feature allows you to send messages to people from your phone book that aren"t in your Facebook friends list, and easily add new contacts just by entering a phone number.
Facebook messenger offers a free way to stay in contact with Facebook friends and more without crunching into your SMS allowance or data plan if used over Wifi.
The app is free to download from the Apple App store and you must have iOS 6 or greater to use it, or from the Google Play store for Android.
