Today, Ubisoft revealed the post-launch plans for Far Cry 6. The title continues to impress fans with its over-the-top content, and the months after launch won"t be boring, to say the least. We"ll see villains from past games returning, as well as cameos from popular actors like Danny Trejo.
You can take a look at the bombastic trailer below. You team up with Danny Trejo for a mission to, well, kill everything in sight; with a Rambo-like character to possibly do the same; and then you"ll experience a Stranger Things crossover event where your dog is missing and you have to find him.
That"s not all though. Special Operations are small missions where you have to steal and diffuse bombs or participate in other activities in unique locations. And Weekly Insurgencies require you to cause mayhem at any given time.
Everything mentioned above is completely free to all players. The Far Cry 6 Season Pass is also stacked with content but requires an additional purchase. You"ll be able to experience unique, possibly rogue-like scenarios as some of the franchise"s best villains like Vaas Montenegro in three DLC packs. Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon is also included in the package as a Season Pass bonus.
You can purchase Far Cry 6 from the Microsoft Store or the platform of your choice, starting at $59.99. If you want the Ultimate Edition, it"ll cost you $119.99. The game is expected to launch on October 7, 2021. Moreover, PC system requirements and platform-specific features were detailed by Ubisoft recently, find them here.
