Fast & Furious Crossroads coming to PS4, Xbox One, and PC on August 7

Announced at The Game Awards in December 2019, Fast & Furious Crossroads was initially slated for release in May 2020. Today, Japanese video game publisher Bandai Namco announced a new release date for Slightly Mad Studios" adaptation of the famous racing movie franchise. The racing title is now set to launch on August 7, 2020, two months after the originally planned release date.

In addition to announcing the delayed launch date, Bandai Namco also shared a brand new trailer for Fast & Furious Crossroads, offering the first look at the gameplay of the upcoming title.

The Fast & Furious game officially continues the story of the franchise. It features a star-studded cast with Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez and Tyrese Gibson resuming their roles as Dom, Letty, and Roman along with the addition of new actors such as Sonequa Martin-Green from The Walking Dead and Asia Kate Dillon from John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum.

Bandai Namco"s overview for the game reads:

"Gear up for high-stakes cinematic action in a new chapter in the Fast & Furious saga as you join the family to hunt down an international crime syndicate and pump the brakes on their plans. Then play online with your friends and create your own crew for revolutionary multiplayer action and spectacular mayhem. With all the high-speed vehicular stunts and heists, gadgets, locations, cars, and heroes from the films, Fast & Furious Crossroads casts you right at the center of the action."

Racing title Fast & Furious Crossroads is scheduled to release on August 7, 2020, and will be available on multiple platforms including PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam. Pre-orders for the video game are currently open and can be placed through Bandai Namco directly or through other retailers.
