Have you ever wondered who would win in a fight between the Messiah and Buddha? Well, you can get some clarification on this in the new - possibly blasphemous or cringe-worthy, depending who you ask - update to Fight of the Gods from Digital Crafters, an indie developer that has, up to now, only built small titles for Android and iOS.
The game features 10 "larger-than-life" gods from Greek and Egyptian mythology, as well as Buddhism and Christianity. These deities duke it out on such "legendary" stages as The Garden of Eden and Mount Olympus.
From the press release:
Who will prevail in the ultimate battle of gods? Will Jesus, fresh from ripping himself off the sacrificial cross, smite all his foes with the power of his Punishment Fist? Can Buddha slap his opponents into submission? Harness the power of fire, lightning, water, plagues and more as you pit gods and prophets such as Odin, Zeus, Amaterasu, Anubis, Moses and Athena against one another in one of the most unique and outlandish fighters ever created.
Fight of the Gods is currently in Early Access on Steam and has already received a 40% discount. The game is being published by PQubeGames, which was behind such notable titles as 2Dark and Syberia 3.
