Just as September rolls in, Microsoft is busy bringing even more titles to its subscription service Xbox Game Pass. During the first couple of weeks there are seven games planned to hit the service, and some, such as Surgeon Simulator 2 and The Artful Escape, are day one arrivals.
Here are the announced titles today:
- Craftopia (Game Preview) (Cloud, Console, and PC) ID@Xbox – September 2
- Final Fantasy XIII (Console and PC) – September 2
- Surgeon Simulator 2 (Cloud, Console, and PC) ID@Xbox – September 2
- Crown Trick (Console and PC) ID@Xbox – September 7
- Breathedge (Cloud, Console, and PC) ID@Xbox – September 9
- Nuclear Throne (Console and PC) ID@Xbox – September 9
- The Artful Escape (Console and PC) ID@Xbox – September 9
Aside from these, Microsoft also announced a partnership with Humble Games recently. 10 games from the publisher – including Dodgeball Academia, which is available now – are coming to Xbox Game Pass on day one at launch. Moreover, Paradox is bringing the upcoming Crusader Kings III Xbox Series X|S edition to Xbox Game Pass much like the PC version when it launches.
Meanwhile, as seven enter, seven games are leaving the program in the middle of the month as well, them being:
Leaving September 13
- Red Dead Online (Cloud and Console)
Leaving September 15
- Company of Heroes 2 (PC)
- Disgaea 4 (PC)
- Forza Motorsport 7 (Cloud, Console, and PC)
- Hotshot Racing (Cloud and Console)
- The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance Tactics (Cloud, Console, and PC)
- Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales (Cloud and Console)
Keep in mind the Xbox Game Studios title Forza Motorsport 7"s departure from Game Pass is due to the game being delisted from all storefronts on that date. As today"s announcement only covers less than half of September, Microsoft should be preparing more waves of games that will land later in the month.
