Last month, the first major overhaul of the Xbox One’s operating system was publicly released, introducing a range of efficiency-based enhancements, while further integrating the console into the Windows 10 ecosystem. The update also introduced the ability to play select Xbox 360 games on Xbox One hardware via a purpose-built emulator, despite drastic differences in system architecture.
At launch, 104 games were supported by the feature, with more games scheduled to join the list each month. At the time, Microsoft stated that the first expansion of the library would come in mid-December, but has since provided no further information.
@Schmeltz22 Made me laugh...yes, this December. Very soon.

Microsoft’s Head of Xbox, Phil Spencer has now confirmed that the latest batch of games will be coming ‘very soon’, after a fan expressed their concerns after the month’s midpoint passed. With the holiday season soon approaching, it is likely we will see the next wave of games arriving before the weekend.
