With Windows 8’s Beta Consumer Preview now just a few weeks away, and with indications that Microsoft’s developmental work on the OS build is more or less complete, more specific details are beginning to surface about the next-generation operating system.
A few days ago, we revealed that a special Bing search page has been set up for users of Internet Explorer 10, featuring the infamous betta fish, and offering users an introduction to Windows 8 features.
In recent days, we’ve discussed numerous details that have emerged – from the removal of the Windows Start button to an updated Charms bar and many other little nuggets of info. Today, a source has shared new details about the Windows Store with The Verge, revealing a list of the first games that will populate the Store in the Consumer Preview build.

The source also claimed that Pinball and Solitaire will be preinstalled, while the games listed above will be available as optional downloads from the Store.
Update: Microsoft News has added a couple more games to the list, stating that Beards & Beaks , geoDefense, Zero Gravity, Rise Of Glory, iBlast Moki, Sudoku, Minesweeper and Cut The Rope will also be available for the Consumer Preview.
