First wave of Xbox games for Windows 8 announced

When Windows 8 hits retail availability, Microsoft wants to make sure that you have access to plenty of games using the built in Xbox application. To help get that ball rolling, Microsoft has announced the first wave of games that will be availalbe for consumes on October 26th.

The list includes some crowd favorites like Angry Birds, Cut the Rope, Fruit Ninja and many, many more that you can see in the full list below. Microsoft claims that Xbox games will "super easy" to discover and of course will have Achievements as well. Look for all these games to be available on launch day and with 40 games available up front, things are looking up already.
