As Microsoft prepares to launch Windows Phone 7 across Europe, lucky kiwis have got their hands on the devices.
The first Windows Phone 7 device has been sold today over in New Zealand. Lucky shopper Jourdan Templeton picked up the world"s first Windows Phone 7 at a store in New Zealand. Shoppers across Europe and in the UK are anxiously waiting until tomorrow morning when devices go on sale at 7am. Microsoft has teamed up with Capital FM in London to promote and sell the devices at Orange"s Oxford Street store tomorrow.
Capital FM show presenters Jonny Vaughan and Lisa Snowdon will be heading to the store following their morning breakfast show and will be offering prizes to those in store from 10am. Microsoft will be handing out a number of freebies to those wishing to get a Windows Phone 7 device tomorrow morning. For now though, the first device has gone on-sale and we await initial reactions and reviews of Windows Phone 7. Stay tuned to Neowin where we will be posting a Windows Phone 7 review in three hours time.
