For the third time in a week, the AT&T Lumia 640 XL is sold out in the Microsoft Store

Over the last three days, the saga of the Microsoft Lumia 640 XL has been a rollercoaster. After months of the unlocked model and weeks of the AT&T-locked variant being out of stock, both devices suddenly appeared in the online Microsoft Store. Within a day, the unlocked model was out of stock, as was the black AT&T variant. And then another day later, there was nothing left.

But suddenly, this morning the white AT&T model appeared again, at its normal price of $99.99. As always, we promised to keep you updated, so it"s our duty to inform you that it"s once again out of stock.

At this point, there"s no telling if there will be any stock in the future, but if there is, you can bet that it will once again sell out quickly. After all, the device will be two years old in March, so surely it will be retired soon.

If you really want a Lumia 640 XL, your best bet now would be to go through a third-party retailer, of which there are plenty, such as eBay. As always, we will keep you updated if the Microsoft Store replenishes its stock.
