Last month, Epic Games announced that the current season of Fortnite would be extended until early June, planning to launch Fortnite Chapter 2 - Season 3 on June 4. The current season, which initially expected to end on April 30, has run well beyond its course. Now, Epic Games has announced that the new season will arrive on June 11, extending Season 2 by yet another week.

Epic Games has also announced an event called The Device, which is scheduled for Saturday, June 6 at 2 PM ET. It is cautioning players to get in 30 minutes early to secure their spot, as space is limited. This is unlike Travis Scott"s virtual concert last month when multiple showtimes were announced for players across the world.
This week, the firm announced its partnership with OnePlus, stating that the free-to-play battle royale game is getting support for 90 frames per second on the OnePlus 8 series.
