It was Playground Games" turn to make a Forza title again and that is what we got today at Microsoft"s E3 presentation with the announcement of Forza Horizon 4. The open-world racer leaves behind the Australian landscape of the previous entry, with fans being introduced to Britain"s countryside, cities, and all the areas in between.
As showcased on stage during the presentation, the game will take place in a shared world, where players will be roaming alongside other racers from all over the world on their own supercars.
The world map will be affected by the newly implemented dynamic seasons feature as well, where entire lakes can get frozen over during the winter, giving players entirely new stretches of real estate to race in.
Forza Horizon 4 will be available on October 2 on the Xbox One family of consoles and Windows 10 PCs. Xbox Game Pass program subscribers on both platforms will also receive the game on day 1.
