From The Forums: Multi-monitors from Neowin readers

Last week, Microsoft posted up an entry in their Windows 8 blog about how it will handle multiple monitors. While Microsoft quickly removed the post, we managed to get the info before it was taken down. Earlier this week, the multi-monitor post went live again.

According to Microsoft"s statistics, over 85 percent of PC desktop users still use a single monitor. However, Neowin readers tend to be different than the norm. In one of our most popular forum topics, "Show us your Workstations! - 2012 Edition", many of our readers show off their PC work spaces. Not surprisingly, a lot of them tend to have two or more monitors.

Forum reader Jerid posted his two monitor workspace a few weeks ago.

Another forum member, trek, took a picture of his workstation as well.

DigitalE showed the forums his three monitor workstation a few days ago.  He says of his setup:

Got a new keyboard (Cooler Master QuickFire Rapid; I"m in looooove with the Cherry blue switches), a second monitor (Dell 1707FP), a whole new computer (Hackintosh; on the left), and a set of Ikea Dioder LEDs for ambient lighting.

Here"s another three monitor setup, from earlier in the year, from forum member Pam14160.

Finally, one of Neowin"s website programmers, Dave Legg, posted up a photo in the forums of his own very cool workstation setup.
