Fujitsu Rolls Out Three "Santa Rosa" Notebooks

Fujitsu has lost no time and has released three new Santa Rosa-based notebook models for the Japanese market. The company launched two 15.4" Santa Rosa notebooks: the FMV-BIBLO NX and FMV-BIBLO NF. The NX features an Intel Core 2 Duo T7200 processor, 1GB of RAM, a 1440x900 display and a Blu-ray burner. The lower-end NF comes equipped with a Core 2 Duo T5500 processor, 1GB of RAM, a 1280x800 display and a dual-layer DVD burner. The lower-end of the three is the 13.4" FMV-BIBLO NX. The FMV-BIBLO NX features a traditional XGA screen and can be equipped with a Core 2 Duo T7200, T5500 or Celeron M430 processor. Intel"s Santa Rosa platform uses Merom-based Core 2 Duo processors and the Crestline chipset which supports 667MHz/800MHz FSB speeds. Graphics duties are handled by a GMA X3000 graphics core and the ICH8M southbridge supports Robson NAND flash integration.
