Crytek and Electronic Arts are showing off gameplay from Crysis 3 in full today, with the launch of the first full trailer for the upcoming sci-fi first person shooter. EA released a short teaser trailer for Crysis 3 a few days ago, but this new footage shows our favorite Nanosuit-wearing hero going toe-to-toe (or arrow-to-toe, as the case may be) with the aliens that have invaded New York City back in Crysis 3. They have since turned the ruined metropolis into a jungle environment.
The trailer shows off some spectacular looking battles with the new bow and arrow weapon along with the typical sci-fi guns we have seen in previous Crysis games. As with Crysis 2, the new game will use Crytek"s CryEngine 3 which should show off some impressive visuals, especially on a PC running on DirectX 11.
Crysis 3 is scheduled to be released sometime in the spring of 2013 for the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 platforms. EA is already taking pre-orders for the game: if you get the game early you can also unlock the Hunters Edition, which provides an early multiplayer unlock for the signature bow along with some other game content extras.
