Gainward has announced a new graphics card sporting Nvidia"s TI 4200 chip that is clocked at default to 270/570MHz.
This is really close to TI 4400 clock speeds and exceeds regular TI 4200 speeds that usually stop at 250/250.
The golden sample board uses 3.3 ns memory that can easily run at 600 MHz in many cases.
Some 65 per cent of the lucky guys that purchase this card will be able to go as high as 290/610MHz and easily beat reference-clocked Ti 4400s from other Nvidia partners.
Other Nvidia partners use 3.6 ns memory on their 64Mb cards and 4.0 ns memory for 128Mb cards but Gainward goes with 3.3 ns.
You can bet that this will be the fastest TI 4200 around.
