'Galaxy S7 Active' could be coming to AT&T

An inactive S7

With the launch of the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge, it was highly likely that we would see a ruggedized variant of the handset land on AT&T. Although details have been scarce up until this point, it looks like a new listing could indicate AT&T is indeed testing the "GalaxyS7 Active".

While we have yet to see anything concrete, such as leaked images, a new handset being tested under the model number "SM-G891A" could indicate that AT&T has started testing the successor to last year"s Galaxy S6 Active, also know as "SM-G890A". Naturally, this is all speculation at this point and this new model being tested could be something entirely different.

Typically, the "Active" handset is released during the summer, so there shouldn"t be much of a wait if AT&T is indeed prepping such a device.
