A while ago images of what appeared to be a Lumia 1030 were leaked from China and many of us rejoiced, happy to see Microsoft finally getting ready to launch a new flagship for its Windows Phone platform. Now a bunch of new images have been released and they give us a better look at the device.
As you can see in the gallery below, the handset is pretty handsome despite its considerable camera hump on the back. Unfortunately, Tom Warren over at the Verge, claims this isn’t a new device at all but supposedly the canceled McLaren flagship that was expected this fall.
That being said, that doesn’t mean a “Lumia 1030” is not in the works somewhere deep inside Microsoft. A spruced-up design, updated internals, with the same rumored 50 Mpx camera, and Windows 10 for Phones would no doubt have many fans drooling.
However, until we hear more official info from the company these images will have to do.
