Gameloft Launching five Windows Phone 7 games

Gameloft has let us know that they are launching five titles on Windows Phone 7, ready for the American launch next month. A couple of them are already out on the UK and European Windows Phone Marketplace, but the others will be released by November 8th. The titles are as follows:

Uno: As many of you know, Uno first found its home on Xbox Live early when the console launched and what better place to play it than on a Xbox Live enabled Windows Phone. The game includes all the usual features such as UNO, UNO Challenge, Jump in and more, and has Xbox Live achivements, although at the moment it sadly doesn"t support Xbox Live multiplayer modes.

The Oregon Trail: The Oregon Trail is a remake of an older title and one that has recently seen a lot of success on the iPhone. The game has you dealing with problem solving, mini games such as fishing, hunting etc and has a lot of side missions. If the iPhone title is anything to go by, then this is going to be well worth the download. The game has also been updated graphically for Windows Phone 7 over the iPhone version.

Earthworm Jim: This is Earthworm Jim HD for Windows Phone and is a remake of the original title released way back in 1994. If you enjoyed the platforming action title back then, chances are you still will, even if it can be frustrating at times.

Assassin"s Creed Altair"s Chronicles: Another reworking of the iPhone/Nintendo DS title with updated graphics for Windows Phone, the game is an action adventure with you taking control of Altair, the master assassin during the Crusades.

Brain Challenge: This is a brain training-like title that many of you will have already played on the Xbox 360 Arcade or via other consoles. It helps keep you brain in shape and contains over 43 mini-games all based on Visual, Memory, Logic, Math and Focus based categories. Once again, this has been updated for the Windows Phone 7 screens.

Some good news then for Windows Phone 7 gamers who will be looking out for some fun games to try on their new hardware when it launches next month in America.
