Games with Gold: EA Sports NHL 19 and Portal are now free

It hasn"t been a day since Microsoft announced the June Games with Gold and already its first wave is available to Xbox Live Gold members for free. Xbox One owners can now grab a copy of EA Sports NHL 19 while those with Xbox 360 consoles can claim Portal: Still Alive. Although it"s sporting a tagline, the latter game is the original Portal by Valve, which comes with some bonus levels also.

Note that Portal: Still Alive is up for grabs for those on Xbox One as well thanks to it being on the backward compatibility program.

Gold activated account holders can now claim both of those games via the store links listed below:

EA SPORTS NHL 19 (Xbox One)

Play on outdoor rinks and journey from the ponds to the pros in new and returning modes. Compete with and against 200 of the greatest hockey legends to hit the ice, including Gretzky. New gameplay tech delivers explosive-edge skating with more acceleration, speed and responsiveness.

Portal: Still Alive (Xbox 360, Xbox One)

As unwilling test subjects in a sinister laboratory, players must break the laws of physics using ‘portal’ technology to solve puzzles and survive.

The Golf Club 2019 from the May Games with Gold promotion is still available for Xbox One owners, with it slated to be replaced by Rivals of Aether on June 16.

Remember that Xbox One titles claimed through a Games with Gold promotion are only playable whenever the player"s account has an active Xbox Live Gold subscription. Claimed Xbox 360 games, on the other hand, will remain playable even if the subscription runs out.
