Sticking to its plans revealed during Inside Xbox, Microsoft has now made two more games available to Xbox Live Gold members for free. The titles come as a part of the October Games with Gold. Xbox One owners get to have Overcooked while Xbox 360 owners have Stuntman: Ignition available to them. As usual, the latter title is also available for those with Xbox One consoles thanks to backward compatibility.
The two games can be claimed right now via their store links listed below:
Overcooked! (Xbox One, October 1 - 31)
Overcooked is a chaotic couch co-op cooking game for one to four players. Working as a team, you and your fellow chefs must prepare, cook and serve up a variety of tasty orders before the baying customers storm out in a huff. Sharpen your knives and dust off your chef’s whites, there isn’t mushroom for error and the steaks are high in these crazy kitchens!
Stuntman: Ignition (Xbox 360, Xbox One, October 1 - 15)
Plunge into the adrenaline-fueled role of a Hollywood stunt driver in Stuntman®: Ignition™, and master the most breathtaking, death-defying vehicle-based stunts ever filmed. As the newest stuntman in Hollywood, you must rise to stardom by combining reckless maneuvering with perfect execution to unlock big-budget blockbusters and lucrative commercial deals.
The usual Games with Gold rules still apply to these new entries, only claimed Xbox 360 games will remain playable if a Gold subscription is discontinued, while claimed Xbox One games need an active subscription to play. And don"t forget that the Xbox One title Livelock still has 15 days left before it"s removed from the Games with Gold program. Victor Vran is prepped to take its place on October 16.
Also, on the Xbox Game Pass side, Microsoft will be adding Forza Horizon 4, Wolfenstein: The New Order, Metro 2033 Redux, and more games to the subscription program in October.
