The second half of the August Games with Gold promotion has landed, bringing in two more bonus games for all Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members to claim. As scheduled, the latest arrivals are the platformer Yooka-Laylee for Xbox One and the fighting title Garou: Mark of the Wolves for Xbox 360.
As usual, these older titles come with backward compatibility support. As such, Yooka-Laylee is available to Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S owners, while Garou: Mark of the Wolves is playable across both those as well as the Xbox 360.

Garou: Mark of the Wolves (Xbox 360)
With the New Hero “Rock Howard” who is only son of Geese Howard and rose up by legendary wolf Terry Bogard, story of the new wolves begin. It banned the traditional line-system but instead bring in the brand-new systems such as “Just Defense”, “T.O.P. In” and “Braking”. It is not only system which renewed but also all the characters are new comers only except Terry Bogard.
For those who missed it from the earlier wave, the Xbox One title Darksiders III is still available as a Gold freebie. It is going away on August 31 to free up the space for the yet to be announced September games of the bi-weekly promotion.
Keep in mind that Xbox 360 games claimed via a Games with Gold promotion will continue being available even after a Xbox Live Gold subscription is discontinued. However, claimed Xbox One games are only playable while the account has an active subscription.
