- The GoG.com DRM-free web site got a new update today with a new downloader feature, a new messaging system and a free game to download.
- Disney Interactive has confirmed that it has laid off an unnamed amount of workers at the UK-based game developer Black Rock Studios, makers of 2010"s acclaimed arcade racing game Split Second.
- A new five minute gameplay trailer from id Software"s shooter Rage has been released. Speaking of Rage, id has now confirmed that the PC version will ship with mod and editing tools.
- Blizzard has donated $800,000 to the Make A Wish Foundation thanks to sales of the World of Warcraft in-game pet Moonkin Hatchling in November and December 2010.
- An analyst has predicted that the final cost to make EA"s upcoming MMO Star Wars The Old Republic could reach $80 million.
- A new trailer for Duke Nukem Forever shows off one of the first person shooter"s big features; shrinking.
- The Witcher 2 will have some slight edits for its Australian version "relating to the topic of sex as a reward"
- The PC version of Super Meat Boy has now released the beta version of the game"s level editor via Steam.
- Rockstar Games has revealed how the publisher"s Social Club features will work with its upcoming crime action game LA Noire.
